Where to find a link to your Teams profile
As we expected with the mass migration of all Skype users to Teams, various problems began to appear due to the fact that the Teams interface is significantly different from Skype. The main question that now arises for Teams users is where to find their login or a link to Teams. Since the architecture of Teams is significantly different from Skype, finding a link to your profile is not as easy as it was in Skype.

It is necessary to start with the fact that in Teams, unlike Skype, there is no longer the login familiar to all of us, which previously could be chosen independently, then it was formed from part of your email that you used to create a profile in Skype. And at the very end, it was simply formed from a combination of letters and numbers and did not carry any useful information about the user. Teams uses only a direct link to the profile, and there is no login in it. But, unfortunately, not everyone can find it to share with other Teams users. Since there are currently three versions of Teams and everyone uses the one that suits them best, we will describe in detail how to find a link to your profile in each of them and how to share it with other users.

Computer version (Windows).
This is the most popular version of Teams used by the majority, but finding a link to your profile here is not so easy either. To get a link to your profile, click on the “Chat” tab in Teams and at the very bottom on the left, click on the “invite to Teams” button. After clicking, a window with a link to your Teams profile will open. Copy this link and share it with whoever you want or add it wherever you need it.

Mobile version (smartphones).
This is the second most popular version of Teams, and getting a link to your profile here is a bit more complicated, although it requires even fewer steps from you. All you need to do to get a link to your Teams here is simply click on your avatar and in the tab that opens, click on “invite to Teams”. There you can copy the link to your Teams profile or share it.

Web version (in a browser).
This is the least popular version of Teams for various reasons, but there are those who use it. Everything is the same here as in the desktop version. Just click on the “Chat” tab and also at the very bottom on the left, click on “invite to Teams”. The link that appears after this will be to your Teams profile.

It should be noted that in Teams there are also links to separately created chats, groups, communities, etc., and it is also possible to get links to all of them. But the profile link always has the word “invite” in it, and this is how you can distinguish the profile link from all other links.
